Just saw an interview with Ohno where he was questioning why a Canadian judge would be making the DQ call in a race featuring 2 Canadian skaters. :|

It does seem odd. I hate to throw assumptions out there like that, but it is very odd.

I would imagine Canada is going to win the gold count now.

USA sets a record for most medals for us in the winter olympics. The old record 34 in 2002, right now 35 and counting.

No, we're at 34 tying the US record set in Salt Lake.

We're guaranteed of tying Germany's record of 36 medals, also set in Salt Lake - hockey gold medal game, men's pursuit..possible 37+ if the USA1 bobsled can hang on tomorrow and other surprises.

And the worst case scenario in hockey - Canada has been sleep walking through the game against Slovakia and leads 3-1 with 6 minutes left.

Damn you Sweden!

Reutter's silver was #33 and the bronze in the relay was #34.

Events are done for the day other than hockey.

Whoa!! Slovakia just scored. 3-2 Canada with 5 minutes left.

I really think Ohno just got fucking hosed in the 500m finals. Yeah his hand was on Tremblay's hip, but he barely touched the canuck. Oh well I'm sure he'll make up for it in the relay.

36 are locked up.

#35 US men vs. Canada in the team pursuit (speed skating) tomorrow - at least a silver.

#36 hockey game

37 if USA1 can hold on in bobsled.

More?

I think we get the gold in bobsled if Halcomb continues to drive clean. He increased the lead over 2nd place Canada in the second run.
