This is an update on Edwards at combine. I am a Liberty Alum but I am such a fan of this guys spread offense style he has played. I have been following him for the last three and a half years and he has done just a great job. One of the most prolific QB's at the I-AA level. He will do fine in the NFL no matter what all other haters say that he is undersized for QB or in the slot.

I'm not a hater, but he IS undersized and won't get a second look as a NFL QB. He has a great shot as a wildcat type, but not a roster QB.

Seneca Wallace?
1 in a million. And he's still not a good parallel.

Those coaches now realized what they missed out on:
“I’d take him in a heartbeat now,” Bowden said in a telephone interview. “I just made a mistake earlier.”
He's been "too small" his whole life. He's always overcome it. He can do it again.
Except when you get passed over by the NFL you go to an office cubicle and start your post-football life. There is no FCS of the NFL to show everyone you were wronged.
I hope it works out for him, but the odds are stacked against him because of his size and injury history.
Hopefully he'll get the real chance (not BS time in the 4th pre-season game) to show his skills, but the odds of him getting that chance are pretty low.

Except for GSU
I meant all the FBS schools passed on him as a QB. Obviously App didn't pass on him either.......

Sewak didn't but VanDoucheBag did.
I honestly think he will get a shot, but he won't make an NFL roster as a QB.

No. There is an FCS of the NFL... the CFL. Hopefully that's not the route he has to take but his football career isn't over if noone in the NFL takes a chance on him. It worked for Warren Moon, Kurt Warner, Jeff Garcia, and others.

I hope he doesn't have to take the route, but you're right, he could make a nice living up in Canadia.
