Awesome...as someone said on the MMB...the SoCon got its wish, no conflict for Davidson fans tomorrow seeing Curry play the Bobcats.

I'm still in disbelief that the SoCon would specifically schedule a potential game to accommodate Curry. Davidson is the UNC of the SoCon this season, and it doesn't hurt my feelings a bit.

Here's the awesome part about Davidson's futility. Both their men's and women's teams are done before either App's teams even got to Charlotte (both App teams play Saturday).

That wraps up Day 2 as Chattanooga blows out Georgia Southern Eagles.

Tomorrow is the quarterfinals when the top teams join the fray. Elon's upset means the Davidson folk can go pregame all day for Curry's homecoming and it helps out Wofford as their half of the bracket is looking light compared to the other half. Of course Wofford has a history of choking in the SoCon tourney as they have only made the semifinals ONCE in their history.

Should be a great day of games. Hopefully App comes out firing and can put the Citadel away early and save their legs some but they got us up in Boone in January by 4 so I'd expect another close game. Win and move on.

Yea we did. It was painful to watch. I'm just glad those clowns from Davidson are done for the year though. Elon looked emotionally hungover from the Davidson game yesterday. But I will wish the rest of the SoCon the best of luck, and I'm hoping whoever makes it to the big dance goes far.
