Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." And they were amazed at him.
That's what "Mark" said, Hogan, possibly 100 years or more after Jesus died. MOF, it's debateable if many of the Apostles are actually the authors of the gospels or even existed.

What would Jesus do?

The letter sent by Attorney General Kenneth Cuccinelli to state college presidents and other officials Thursday drew swift criticism from Democrats and gay rights activists.

Cuccinelli said the legislature has repeatedly refused to exercise its authority. As recently as Tuesday, a subcommittee killed legislation that would have banned job discrimination against gay state employees.

"It is my advice that the law and public policy of the Commonwealth of Virginia prohibit a college or university from including 'sexual orientation,' 'gender identity,' 'gender expression,' or like classification, as a protected class within its nondiscrimination policy, absent specific authorization from the General Assembly," Cuccinelli wrote.

The Republican advised college governing boards to "take appropriate actions to bring their policies in conformance with the law."

It's the AG's opinion. What would happen if the universities ignored his advice? Who would be harmed? Does the state constitution single out "sexual orientation" but condone ban's based on race?

Seems like some stupid advice from the AG.
Get their asses sued for enforcing a non existent law. Good thing the universities aren't taking legal advice from Kalm.

Jesus would follow the constitution or he would be breaking the law and probably end up back on that cross again.

I believe the writing to be accurate, so I answered your question...I believe Jesus would do something similar to what I've already said should be done...follow the laws, and work to change them...

Disagree. Jesus made a name for himself defying the laws of man. That's how he ended up in deep shit and nailed to railroad ties.

I appreciate your answer, but IMO, Jesus would not allow his children to suffer at the hands of tyrants.

Come on, CID. Rhetoric like this does nobody any good.

If someone asks my opinion on this or any other issue, I'll tell them as respectfully as I can. I'm sure most of you already know what that is. But namecalling and smack of this nature causes one to lose EVERYONE's respect, and I won't take part in it.
