Hornets need a miracle, now. They're down by 19 with 13 minutes left.

I like how you're organizing this, Venus. Keep up the good work.

Well, the Lady Griz failed to show up today.
Hopefully EWU can win the tourney so UM will at least make the WNIT.

PSU wins, 62-47.
The preseason favorite Viks were a disappointment throughout the regular season, but still manage a title game berth.

Eags lead MSU by 1 at the half. MSU's starters are dominating EWU's starters 25-10, but the Eagles are winning the bench battle 16-0.
Eastern's Kyla Evans isn't playing for some reason (assuming the live stats are right).

Why would the WNIT take a 15-14 Montana?

They'd get an auto-bid as the highest regular season finisher not to make the NCAAs.

I didn't realize they did that - only guaranteed the regular season champ if they don't make

That's what the men's NIT does. The WNIT gives a guaranteed auto-bid to each conference (assuming the team doesn't decline it like Rutgers threatened to do weeks ago—if the designated team declines it the conference's auto-bid is forfeited).

Whoever wins will be the lowest-seeded team to win the Big Sky Tournament (only one sub-2 seed had ever won the thing before: #3 NAU in 2006).
The #6 seed had never made the title game prior to this year.
So, was the regular season a big waste of time? I guess it filtered out Weber, NAU, and UNC, but that's about it…
