Except UT manages to keep a lot of it out of the media, and when they do have to break it out into the media the go to pick up Cedric Benson in a fan bus when he was released from jail. They make it an exciting event that they get their running back out of jail and basically reinforce that its OK that hes there, because theres a parade when he gets out.

I doubt Masoli will use his redshirt year next year. Ducks have a great QB coming in Thomas. If Kelly has given Masoli a Blount-like suspension, he'll will stay with the program. My take, if he is truly out for the year, he will do like Perriloux and Bomar and transfer to FCS.
