Yeah, he's a pussy. At least I was .24 when the cop had to jump the curb with his patrol car and just miss a gas pump to avoid a head-on with my truck.

Heck, these guys don't even go out until 11 or later - I'm in bed soon thereafter these days.houndawg wrote:ASUG8 wrote:Clearly, Coco was still working on getting his drink on.....I'm sure with enough watermelon vodka or rum or whatever the hell it was he could eventually have hit .20Jeez, give a brotha a chance.....
Past midnight when he got stopped.
Slacker.

Agree. Quite frankly, I'm more embarrassed by him not passing a field sobriety test at .11 after drinking girly drinks than I am about the ticket...but that's just me. I know some wonderfully funny, good-looking & charming people who have had a DWI...more than one actually....Ursus A. one point: The sobriety tests are NOT part of the NFL combine, but should it be?
that's because people get funnier and better looking when you're hammered.Appaholic wrote:Agree. And that would be sensible punishment. Acting all fucking superior about this kind of shit shows a some real character flaws in people if they are being serious. You give a guy a chance to rectify the situation and jump through his hoops of punishment and then you move on treating them with respect. Sitting in judgment and demonizing someone over shit like this does not give them a message that IF they work on it they can redeem.T-Dog wrote:The thread on AGS is getting sad with people taking the bait over and over and starting with the moral authority stuff and the "according to my sources" stuff.![]()
The way the law reads in SC, it's a misdemeanor on 1st offense. He pays a $900 fine and then spends 2-30 days in jail OR does 48 hours community service. I'm guessing he'll plead for the community service or if he's lucky, for the charges to be reduced or dropped completely. There's no extra charges like resisting arrest or serving to a minor so that bodes well for him.
Once his injury heals 100%, I expect him to be counting stadium steps and speak to schools about the dangers of drinking and driving and maybe a game suspension.

Calling him a thug for a DWI is retarded (fuck you Sarah Palin). Seriously, I haven't been on AGS to read the thread there, but come on. I can't stand self-righteous pricks.ASUG8 wrote:T Dog is right - the AGS thread is like reading a Liberty university condemnation with the exception of John St. Wronge making his usual asinine statements. The kid screwed up, fessed up, and will deal with the consequences. He's been called a thug - he looks like it, but he didn't jack somebody's TV or mug their grandmother. Jerry will deal with it in due time. Hate to lose him for a suspension ,but an example needs to be set.
For the record, ASU has a pretty tight ship when it comes to this crap relative to other places. The GSU guys on AGS need to note that they live in a glass house before casting stones.

They must have been hanging out with the Furman players...bandl wrote:Agreed. Only women drink Bacardi Watermelon.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:That sucks App. guys. Young fellers make some costly mistakes.

I haven't cast any stones at App other than to get a good natured dig at both App and Furman over this but please enlighten us as to the recent transgressions of GSU players that have involved law enforcement.ASUG8 wrote:For the record, ASU has a pretty tight ship when it comes to this crap relative to other places. This wasn't directed at you blue - there's an asshat (seantaylor) or two on the inferior site making some waves.blueballs wrote:I haven't cast any stones at App other than to get a good natured dig at both App and Furman over this but please enlighten us as to the recent transgressions of GSU players that have involved law enforcement.ASUG8 wrote:For the record, ASU has a pretty tight ship when it comes to this crap relative to other places. These guys are great athletes then when they get a dui everybody wants to act like this mthafcka didnt sell his life to the game in order to win NC's, so that you fat, unathletic, nobodys can celebrate. It comes with the territory, if you want a team full of off-the-field-angels, be prepared to sit in last place you dck-riding, bandwagon-jumping bstards!

If it was beer or bourbon I'd agree- maybe 1 game.T-Dog wrote:The thread on AGS is getting sad with people taking the bait over and over and starting with the moral authority stuff and the "according to my sources" stuff.![]()

But for drinking the gay f**king chick drinks, Bacardi Silver Mojito, Bacardi Silver Lemonade and Bacardi Silver Watermelon I'd make it 2-3 games.

I think "flunking" a field sobriety test is virtually meaningless. At http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/Drivin ... 96613.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you can find this quote:Agree. Gotta agree with BDK on this one....seriously, if you're gonna get caught, don't half ass it.....BDKJMU wrote:If it was beer or bourbon I'd agree- maybe 1 game.
