Thank you.CatMom wrote:Lest we forget...Butler is also in the sweet 16. Higher seed but still an "FCS" school on the move
Agreed but Butler has been there and done that. UNI had one NCAA victory in school history, 1990. Now we are in the sweet 16CoachL wrote:Thank you.CatMom wrote:Lest we forget...Butler is also in the sweet 16. Higher seed but still an "FCS" school on the move
It's nice that someone noticed.
And I would like to add my congratulations to UNI. Fantastic victory today!

I agree...UNI will turn into App St. all over again.AZGrizFan wrote:There'll be NO LIVING with UNI fans now.

I won't. It was a huge win, but I'm not going to hold it over anyone...unless we get the elite 8 or further...grizzaholic wrote:I agree...UNI will turn into App St. all over again.AZGrizFan wrote:There'll be NO LIVING with UNI fans now.

Man, the last 8-10 minutes of that game was really fantastic. Nice shot he made with a little side step to the left with about a second to go. Did you see how close that pass came to be deflected by the trailing Mich. St. player? What a shot.BlueHen86 wrote:Great finish in the Maryland-Michigan St game. Michigan St hits a 2 point basket with 22 seconds left to go ahead 82-81. Maryland, out of timeouts, hits a 2 pointer with 7 seconds left to go up 83-82 only to see Michigan St win it a the buzzer with a three pointer. Michigan St 85 Maryland 83.
Maryland trailed by 16 in the second half, and by 14 with 6:47 remaining.

When the pass was first made I thought he was the intended recipient and that he missed the ball. It's a good thing for Mich St that he did.Ursus A. There have been a ton of MM to make the S16, and a lot of them from our own conference. If anything I'd hold the fact we are the only current member, and first member, of the Missouri Valley Conference to beat a #1 team in the nation since Cincy beat Ohio State in 1962AZGrizFan wrote:clenz wrote: I won't.
