FCS Team Rosters for NCAA 08
FCS Team Rosters for NCAA 08
Are you guys interested in team rosters for the FCS teams in NCAA 08? Vote in the poll and post your thoughts.
If so let me know. We are thinking of creating the team rosters for all the FCS teams but the main thing we are going to need is community support.
We would need fans from each team to get together and create your teams roster with player info and player ratings.
Once I get enough of an idea if this is wanted, I will create a way for you all to start creating the teams!
Thanks, Chris

would this be only for the old consoles or new as well? i.e. the 360 and the ps3

The FCS isn't on XBOX360, so throw that idea down the drain. I'm pretty darn sure it's on the other consoles.Peems wrote:would this be only for the old consoles or new as well? i.e. the 360 and the ps3

Well seeing on the "college legend" mode with FCS Team Nicknames being a hard major then yea, we need the rosters on there....

At the moment for sure it will be for the PS2 version, with a possibility for the others.
BTW, I'm Kevin, the same one who helped come up with the new logo set for the site, and I'm glad to see that it is being well accepted so far.

Unfortunatley, since EA hasnt touched Div1AA/FCS teams in a good few years, North Dakota State isnt in the pack of teams. I will probably be able to create them, but with a generic stadium and logo. Sorry, EA has been slacking, not my fault.

Yeah, the stadium would just be a dome of course but i am really interested in getting the team on there. that would huge right now. we have been on 2k NCAA BB for 2 years now i think and getting football would be fantastic.needmore44 wrote:Unfortunatley, since EA hasnt touched Div1AA/FCS teams in a good few years, North Dakota State isnt in the pack of teams. Now that I'm thinking about it, i could replicate their uniforms pretty closley, and as far as the logo, i think EA does have a custom buffalo logo that might be of good use.

Do you think when NDSU is playoff eligible EA will look to include them into the game? or full DI for the matter.needmore44 wrote:Now that I'm thinking about it, i could replicate their uniforms pretty closley, and as far as the logo, i think EA does have a custom buffalo logo that might be of good use.

I tried really hard to make them as accurate as I could. I don't think I have any player in the 90s, a few high 80s. Most of my OL is in the 70s.needmore44 wrote:I look forward to your UNBIASED information!catbob wrote:Well I just finished my Bobcats for NCAA 07 on xbox.
Of course, it is a user-created Bobcat team in a 68,000 fan horseshoe stadium, with new uniforms.

Looks a little Packer-ish, but otherwise fine.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: FCS Team Rosters for NCAA 08
of the top 25 i think i saw only 2...ND State, and then Lehigh. From then ill do as many as it will let me, starting with the best teams to the worst.
The plan is to do the top 5 first, then the next 5, and so on...
