I'm not a leftist, I'm more of a moderate. I voted for McCain, I had to close my eyes to the fact that he had an idiot for a running mate. The point, which, of course, you missed entirely, is that being governor of Alaska is the softest gig in all of politics. Population of of a medium sized city, a revenue stream that even a Republican can't overspend, and citizens that would rather light their hair on fire than vote, as long as the guvmint money keeps coming.
