The religious right tries to proseletyze you to share their vision of faith. The religious left prosecutes and taxes you, whether you share their vision or not.TheDancinMonarch wrote:They are the people who worship government as their God. Despite his denials, Cleets is a priest of the religious left.grizzaholic wrote:You seem like just the rest of the ******* out there that " know what is best for the rest of us". Clearly you have not read my posts - yet you comment on what you think are my opinions
Had you actually just read my posts all of this could be avoided
I've tried to like you - honestly I have - but you're kind of too stupid
Wow.. back-to-back idiotic posts
1) Being right and wanting things my way (as you say) actually have nothing to do with a person making an "observation" about a situation
2) Being a politician vs. making observations about cultural conditions are not related... and the world is exactly how "I like it" just as it is...
Grizaholic:
Instead of attacking the poster why not instead make a comment about the ideas expressed in the post itself...
Example: I disagree with your opinion Chizzang because _______ and _______ and so I think your observation is _______ and ________
instead of making irrelevant comments about smoking in bars and wanting all variety of freedoms to be illegal... try that some time... you know: Read the posted comment and respond to the content of the comment...

The whole problem with your point on this Cleets is that you are looking at this from a purely philisopical angle and what may be the best thing if the real world and nature wasn't involved.Chizzang wrote:Come on native...native wrote:

In any species there are traits in one gender vs. the other that make each attracted to the other.
For a great deal of us humans that may be a variety of things in the fetish type thing but the one thing all those features have in common is that we like to SEE them at the very least. As humans the one side wants something the other has. This creates "value" and they see that they can get something for it so they offer it at a price. This is pure nature brother and no matter how enlightened you or any of us think we should be at some point Mother Nature WILL step in and ask you to pay a cover charge.

Isn't it obvious by now that you can't legislate morality?

I made my point about Climate Changers because anything adhered to devoutly regardless of external data ultimately ends up functioning like a religion..JayJ79 wrote:

To address your point JayJ79
I have argued that two things track alongside human civilization throughout its history
1) Personal refinement
2) Environmental decline
Be it coincidence or evidence..?

You can't legislate a good economy, you can't legislate morality, and you can't legislate the stupid out of people.
