There are actually two this year. The Triangle Classic and then the spring game on April 24th in Bozeman.

Legendary sportscaster Brent Musburger, who grew up in Montana, along with youth clinics and a Bobcat football scrimmage highlight Triangle Classic Weekend in Great Falls, April 9-10.

The voice of college football and basketball for ABC and ESPN known as one of America's most noteworthy and accomplished sportscasters, Musburger traces his roots to Big Timber. He has called nearly every major sporting event, including The Masters and the World Series.

Musburger will serve as guest speaker for the annual Triangle Classic Banquet at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, which begins at 5 pm. Youth cheer and football clinics for children in third through eighth grade occur Saturday at Paris Gibson, with the Triangle Classic Scrimmage set for Memorial Stadium in the late afternoon. Times on both are to be announced.

Montana State Football and the MSU Spirit Squad will sponsor two free clinics for kids in grades 3-8 at the Paris Middle School on Saturday beginning at noon.

Sac State is Saturday May 1st at 10:30 am. My guess is it will be played on the practice field as installation of the new FieldTurf won't be completed until May 21st.

The University of Northern Iowa football team will get its spring practice schedule underway Wed., March 31. The Panthers will have 15 dates of spring practices, which includes the Spring Game finale - Fri., April 30, in the UNI-Dome.

Throughout the spring drills the Panther football team will for a general rule practice on Monday, Friday and Saturday.

The Panthers are coming off a 7-4 season in 2009, which saw UNI ranked in the final top 25 poll for the eighth time in nine years under head coach Mark Farley.

UNI will open the 2010 season Sept. 11 in the UNI-Dome against North Dakota State in the Missouri Valley Football Conference action.

UNI football season tickets are available for purchase. Panther Scholarship Club members can save $10 off their adult season ticket orders by purchasing them before July 1 for $89. Non-PSC members can purchase their season tickets with adult prices at $99 and youth (18-and-under) at $49.

UNI will offer a red zone special this year. For $120, a fan can purchase two season tickets in the "Red Zone" seats located in sections A, J, K, S.

Single-game tickets will go on sale July 1 with adult tickets at $24 and youth tickets at $12.
