Grip?

You know me Cap. I don't sweat anything. There are global financial interests that will keep any White House socialist in check. Moreso, Obama's campaign has connections with so much dirty money, if elected, he'd spend most of his administration being deposed by special prosecutors. It'd be just another 4 years wasted while America falls further behind the other industrial nations...which would hurt everyone in the U.S.

Have fun.

As opposed to a coninued 12 year (Bush and McCAin) that we have plummeted behind the rest of the world.

No Thanks, been there, seen how shitty it is...

4 more years of the same would do far more damage to the United States.

Ah, yes. The DU "McSame" line.

Tell me, Dback, specifically what "incorrect" policies by the Bush Administration has McCain stated he will continue? As always, source, please (and not DU or Huffingtonpost). Thanks.

off the top of my bald head - he supports Bush's failed Iraqi policy to the letter. Favors Bushes shoot first, ask questions later mentality.

He supported Bush's failed economic policies. He supports Bush's failed social policy.

And what makes you think Obama would cause the US to decline?

Bush did not have a post-invasion policy, he's been overruling his military advisers and making it up as he goes. McCain has said we will stay there as long as it takes to ensure a stable transition to the Iraqi government, which, I believe, is also Obama's policy.
Bush has no economic policy other than to listen to what Wall Street and the oil companies tell him to do. I've repeatedly stated his failure to even have an economic policy, along with Paulson's horrendous job as Treas.Sec., has been the biggest failing of his administration. McCain is not the same mindless drone as he's demonstrated on numerous occasions. It's interesting to note that McCain's principal economic goal was increased employment, (which Hillary just announced in Florida yesterday was the Dems focus also. Who'd a thunk) and energy independence WITH ALL ENERGY FORMS BEING DEVELOPED INCLUDING NUCLEAR AND CLEAN COAL, which Obama has refused to include in his plan. Obama and the hippies can spend the rest of their lives flying kites waiting for lightning to strike them and power America, but it just ain't ever gonna happen, and any more time wasted on these smoke and mirror "energy policy by non-scientist dopers" will exponentially harm America.
Re: social policies, I don't envision McCain building "gulags for gays" anytime soon (though I suppose it might happen during his second term now that central valley, CA land prices have dropped and the Amtrak route from Fremont to Merced has more available cars, it's possible for the "SF gay camps" to finally get off the drawing board... ), and whilst not completely onboard with his health plan, I do believe he's serious about looking at addressing health care costs. With all the administrative overhead in health care, I suspect you could probably fire all the non-health care staff (administrative) and the system would still run fine...
I really don't think you want to read all I could write about what is wrong with Obama's social policies and proposals. He is a socialist who has no business even being considered for public office in the U.S.. Period.
Re: a "shoot first...mentality". One of the principal reasons I support McCain, despite my many
concerns about his other policies, is that he has a spine and will not be shy about using our military capabilities to signal hostile nations our intent to defend our country WITHOUT HESITATION, should any hostile nation attack our country, our citizens abroad or our allies. That, dear Dback, is as "Presidential" as it gets.
It has been discussed intensively on the non-liberal-spinning radio programs this past week, that Biden's "...tested..." remark was a way they could innoculate themselves when the incident occurs.
An Obama administration would try to manufacture an "incident" first, that could be orchestrated to appear that Obama had "decisevely" dealt with the "crisis", then when the first "real" crisis hit, and he inevitably fails miserably by waffling and talking our national interests away, the Dems would spin it as a "50-50/give and take" example of "Modern Global Relations". If he's elected, I'll put up a $100 dollar of hooch that's how it goes down...care to take me up?

Um, yes. Cap'n Cat does not wax pathetically like you do in posts. You're John St. Wronge with a penis.

Um, yes. Cap'n Cat does not opine like you do in posts. Rather, I transfer blame (responsibility) for my insecurities/failures on the unrelated failings of our society's leaders and heroes, a practice encouraged and applauded by the losers in today's pop culture society, thus making me appear more competent than I really am. :thumb:

Self actualization. It's always the first step, Cap.

How keen, yet very seventh-grade, at the same time, St. Wronge.
