Congressman Ben Johnson (D-GA) was recently questioning the Chief of Naval Operations about a move of some 8000 Marines from Japan to Guam...

It appears the Congressman is concerned that the island of Guam will "tip over" with all those extra people...

Who ever is running against this guy should just run this clip over and over as his commercial.

How do you know his constituents aren't just as stupid? The previous representative of that district was Cynthia McKinney.

You have to give credit to the admiral. He didn't miss a beat and calmly replied that he doesn't anticipate that Guam will be capsized. If I had been sitting in that chair, I would have gone ballistic.

This is the the Dumb Ass Congressmans reply to the flap over his comments. I think he's make it up that he didn't really believe it would capsize. From his page in Wikipedia:
