Re: BASEBALL
Texas Tech takes down UT 12-5. TXST beat Tech 12-7. UT beat TXST 4-3 in first meeting. Look out for the second one(4/13). Although, when we play UT, if we aren't up by gobs, something suspicious always seems to occur in the 8th inning that is questionable and gives UT 4 outs. I've seen it happen the last 2 seasons.

Re: BASEBALL
Who are these schools you guys are playing. No, seriously, I haven't heard of some of them.
We're over here playing Texas, Tech, TCU, A&M and Baylor and you are playing Lemoyne and Presbyterian?
Are they conference games?
Hey, I'm trying to learn the baseball conferences here.

Re: BASEBALL
Can you PM me your baseball conference? Is it the same as football, or do you have more teams like the SLC?
Keep on keeping on CCU. We need the teams in the the rankings and RPI. Our guys are doing what they can.
Our AA 2nd baseman went out with a hamstring Friday . Hope he's back for the Baylor game Tues, but I doubt it. Might have to wait it out for the weekend series.

Re: BASEBALL
FRISCO, Texas - Texas State outfielder Laurn Randell has been named the Southland Conference Hitter of the Week while Lamar left-handed pitcher Jonathan Dziedzic and Sam Houston State right-handed pitcher Dallas Gallant have been named the Southland Co-Pitchers of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Randell led Texas State's offensive attack this weekend, batting .733 in four games and helping Texas State to a 3-1 week. The senior from Austin, Texas (McCallum), went 1-for-4 at Baylor, but shined in the Bobcats' three-game sweep of Central Arkansas. He went 5-for-5 with three RBI and two runs in the opening game of the series and fell a double shy of the cycle because he stretched out his second triple on the day. Randell also notched his first home run of the season in the 14-2 run-rule win to be named Hitter of the Day in Baseball America's Around the Nation Blog. Randell remained perfect at the plate reaching base each time, going 2-for-2 with a pair of walks and a hit by pitch. He closed out the series with a 3-for-4 effort, including his third homer of the series. Against the Bears, Randell batted .909 with a 2.091 slugging percentage and a .938 on-base percentage, while adding one outfield assist and a pair of stolen bases.
