I probably disagree with your definition of "social justice" dawg.

Hanging a horse thief represents social justice. :thumb:

Tarring and feathering corrupt politicians and running them out of town on a rail would represent social justice.  Unfortunately, that would only leave about 5% of the dems and 30% of the repubs in town... maybe not such a bad idea after all. :?

Feeding the poor might contribute a smidgen to social justice. Teaching the poor to feed themselves would contribute even more. Robbing them of any hope of self reliance actually harms the cause of social justice. :ohno:

Lying, cheating and stealing to promote social justice also does more harm than good. :ohno:

Even though I liked some aspects of Bush's Presidency, I admit he sometimes had a tin ear. It's hard to grasp that Obama's handlers allow him to have an even worse tin ear.

From a purely partisan perspective, I like Obama's incompetent style, because it decreases the chances for his re-election.

However, for the sake of our country and the people who live here, I would prefer that he expand his circle to include some competent staff and tack to the center-right, the place from which every successful modern day President has governed.

I share Limbaugh's enthusiasm for Obama's policies to fail, not because I want America to fail, but because I believe that, in the long run, Obama's solutions will lead to tragic long term failure and do more to harm the underprivileged and our country than anything the Republicans could possibly do.

The real "troublesome political climate" is that we have a president that wants to attack private citizens instead of across the board tax cuts for everyone but poor people so we can get our economy going again. Nope not the fraud he wants to spend, spend, spend money we dont have.

No jobs
No economy

First, aren't tax cuts the same thing as spending? If you aren't taking in more revenue the debt is still going to be going up... whether you're spending or cutting taxes.

Second, what do you think of the tax cuts in the stimulus bill and the health care bill?

First, no. Taxes are to pay for defense, (education - 1/32 of the money we currently spend) some roads/infrastructure and maybe some disaster relief. Not to pay for Haiti to line the pockets of drug lord street thugs. Not for welfare, not for healthcare, not for corporate welfare, not for subsidies. Our government has more than enough money to cover the basics and they still spend money they dont have.

Second, I dont think much of them at all because they are to the wrong people.

I don't think it's even possible to adequately address the stupidity contained in this post.

You pretty much summed up your lack of understanding in such a short post...

I do not work for the President of the United States. Instead, I work for the same boss HE works for. Additionally, I am a US citizen and have just as much right to be uncharitable as you do to be ignorant.

The difference is that you abuse the privilege.

Oh really? I didn't realize I was talking with Mr. Superior.

If this thread was about US foreign policy, then you would have a point, since I work in foreign policy and am sworn to publicly support the foreign policy of the United States. Since it is about a President who cannot seem to raise himself above the rhetoric over talk show hosts, AGAIN I have as much right to criticize as anyone.

I don't need you to describe my duty to me, mister. I know more about duty than you EVER will.

Oh, and BTW. I cannot keep any profits from the sale of my vehicle, so I'll be taking it with me to my next exotic posting. Probably Niger or Chad.
