Where was the outrage while the previous administration was spending us into oblivion? The so-called Tea Party sat still for eight years while our civil liberties were flushed down the toilet and the middle class was beaten to a pulp. Don't tell me about Obama, this was happening while he was still a state level politician running against a wife-pimping opponent. Eight long years of Dead or Alive and Freedom Fries and Patriot Act and Free Speech Zones and not a peep out of these buffoons until a black man gets elected........you got nothing, norman...........other than deflection and diversion.......... :ohno:
Speaking of deflection....

Where are you and people of your ilk, now?

You people whined about "Bush Deficits", where is the outrage now that your guy is in office and running deficits 4-5X what Bush ever did? You people whined about Bush's Patriot Act, it's still in effect and many parts of it are getting renewed as we speak. You people whined about Gitmo....Obama promised to close it within a year, it's still there and open for business. You people whined about Iraq, we are still in Iraq. Obama is (finally) pumping up the war machine in Afghanistan, not a peep out of you people. When Bush floated the trial balloon about lifting the ban on drilling off the east coast, the leftist had a screaming hissy fit. Obama campaigned against lifting the ban, but amazingly all of the sudden has lifted the ban. Again, from the left all we have is virtual silence.

Where are all the people who were screaming "Bush Lied People Died" now? Obama has lied and people are still dying. All I hear out of you people now is crickets..... :ohno:

Just like there was dissent with the Medicare Prescription Drug Program, when Homeland Security was formed, etc. The later we got into Bush's presidency the louder the complaining got. It just got very little attention from the media.

Bingo Baldy! :thumb: & therein lies the crux of most American's political involvement (& hypocritic double-standard) & the politician's ability to placate our anger in the past. The divide-&-conquer appraoch works well to allow the 2 biggies to always maintain power. Why? Because most voters, when it gets down to it, really only care about one or two individual issues & to hell with the rest of a candidate's platform....& to hell with the Constitution if it's convenient to your pet issue.... :ohno:

He's right....& the Teqbagger's would have more credibility with me if they were raising hell at both parties. But they're not...in fact, they're inviting sitting Republican Senators & Representatives to their rally. And the Teabagger Matron Saint, Sarah Palin, was in Arizona pleading with citizen's to send McCain back to the Senate. How can you justify, rationalize or even excuse that inconsistency when you are supposedly outraged at the current government?

I never claimed to take Obama seriously...I take niether party seriously. But the Teabagger's, like yourself, seldom make that distinction. Instead, they blame al the ills of our country on the black guy.

But the Tea Partiers are indeed taking shots at Republicans performance, as strongly evidenced by the opposition from some parts of the Republican machine to tea party issues and the fact that tea party support does not translate directly to Republican support in polls.

Healthy scepticism is a good thing, and we must be ever vigilant if we are to protect our liberty! :thumb:

But when you magnify Republican failures and pecadillos in your mind to same level of moral equivalency as the pernicious policies and programs of the "progressives," then the inconsistency in your own imagination obscures the meaningful differences which allow us to create meaningful solutions. :ohno:

I do not blame Obama alone for all the nation's ills, but I do blame "progressive" policies and programs, those who actively support them, and those fence sitters who passively support them by failing to distinguish the policy pepper from the massive quantities of policy fly sh!t. :kisswink:

Disagree that Dems are more at fault than Republicans historically. Agree that your inconsistency in holding politician's accountable regardless of the letter beside their name & continuing to gloss over this issue is why we'll agree to disagree on the sincerity of the TP movement until it's proven to me otherwise as I stated earlier...

I blame progressive policies equally with the regressive policies Republicans continue to espouse & preach like Drug War...

BTW, did you see 60 min Sun night? Had a very postitive segment on regarding how Bush's policy of providing AIDS drugs to African country has increased the amount of love African's have for America. I was so proud that Bush & our government was providing this form of taxpyer-subsidized/socialized healthcare to Africans since all the AIDS patients in America have free AIDS drugs..... :coffee:

You'll be able to tell when they become a legitimate threat by the lack of spelling errors on their signs.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

:ohno:

:ohno: I asked first...
