Why is someone from App St talking crap to SUU? I'm pretty sure I've seen SUU in the NCAA Tournament more recently than App St (if they've ever been). As for football, yes, App is better but FCS football in the state of Utah is thought of to be more like DII or NAIA football.
Most people in Utah think SUU and Weber are DII.

Really cause last time i checked your ave. attendance this year is around 24,000. Well Wa Griz now holds well over 25,000. Thats too bad.... but i hope you lose for two years cause all the band wagon fans will leave and you will be back to your 18,000 normal. and YES wa griz is the leader of the past 5 years!!!!!

This is a testimonial for all of you guys that are new to Appaholic's incessant ribbing. He is a hell of guy and me and many Griz fans got the chance to party with this year when he flew out to Missoula for the "Griz Challenge" which was a party that we had here for board members that could make it. The guy SOLD HIS TICKETS TO THE APP. ST./JMU game and flew out to Missouls to attend the festivities and meet the contingent/alumi from schools like NAU, N. Colorado, Harvard, UC Davis, and Griz fans from AZ, Seattle, and around the state of Montana. He is a true fan of the sport and a man that really know how to have a good time. If you were to ever get a chance to meet this guy I would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. He can take as good as he gives as I can see you all can and he should almost never be taken seriously...unless it has to do with buying him another beer. He is very serious about that.
Note to Appa..these guys from Utah kicked the living dog shit out of you. Work on it.

FWIW, AppSt could learn some things about tailgating from Montana......WaGriz tailgate scene is right on! I commend the Griz on their tailgating acumen.....

ok time for some restating here. and i am apolagentic. app.st does have a higher att. due to bandwagon or whatever idc 29 k is solid number. I would really think that Montana prob has the best overall atmosphere. but i respect boone. I get cranky when i here, wa griz is overrated. But i do understand that app is a solid program with their recent sucess. Congrats appaholic for having a team worth giving a damn about. I would also like to thank you for coming and visting wa Griz last year. atleast you have experience. I would love to see a game in boone. just to be able to compare.
But i still will stand by WaGriz as being the loudest in FCS. Appaholic you gotta get them to remove that ugly --- track and its not really about stadium size, but rather the intensity. I think if you run into the rock you get that wow feeling like you do if you run into wagriz and with a stadium like that you always get the visitors teams best.
what do ya think about a possible Montana matchup in the playoffs???? in Montana. then what about one in boone altho not sure the brackets would let this happen

ya UC Davis crowd was weak and has improved leaps and bounds and i still think we are the loudest once again get them to remove that track and move the stands closer and i think you guys would be there.
Montana has had more fans for long periods of time..... we have the old, we have the new, we have a large contingecy of fans travel week in and week out. app st is getting better i just dont like the whole bandwagon feeling. thats what i ment by true fans

Props to you and missoula as well.....wa/griz is a special place....and, although I do not like the track either, it does provide our fans with a staging area for rushing the field when we win semi-final games....or rip JMU's hearts out....

This is to the idiot that said Wa-Griz stadium is a hs stadium. I'm guessing you're just young and dumb, so it's ok. The whole country knows that the Griz stadium is the best, has been for a long time. The Rock, in Boone (home of appalacian state) gets big crouds on certain weekends. But honestly, just check out the stadiums online and it's real easy to see that (the rock) has a lot of catching up to do. Appy state is the best team in the country though, and I'm sick and tired of hearing about them. It's also easy to figure out why they are the best. They live in D-1 country. A lot of division 1 players end up going to Appy state if they arent starting for a big team. If Appalacian state wins again for the 4th time, we will see them being pushed to play at the next level because of this. I'm a die hard Griz fan, but honeslty; I don't care who wins it, as long as it isn't appalachain state. Nobody wants to see 1 team win the title every year. It's not good for the FCS to have this happen.

First of all, I did read it all grizzaholic. By the way, I apologized to you about the post under the weber section. I confused you with ray with the crazy bracket. Anyway, on this post I was replying to one specific person, I wasn't replying to the posting just above mine, I was replying to a page or two before that. We're both griz fans man.

Thanks. You can't help but to have pride here in Montana, we don't have anything else. I am getting the feeling that Appy State is going to win a 4th title. If that's the case than I take my hat off to them. I would give anything to see our teams play eachother once. I wouldn't mind seeing Weber State play Appy either, that would be a good game. If the griz don't make it to the big dance, they will have plenty more chances as they are so young. Chase Reynolds is going to be an animal the next 2 seasons. He came on the scene like a freight train.
