I guess Montana's conference tourney and near upset of New Mexico did nothing for many voters. They are surely a top 25 mid major at year's end. BTW, the future is brighter. Feel free to check out their recruiting class on epsn.com. Vaughn Autry, Kareem Jamar, Bill Reader, and Weisner all are better than average recruits, with Autry and Jamar with ratings of 91 and 92 respectfully. Two jc transfers to join them.

Derek Selvig and Brian Qvale will make for one of the better frontcourt tandems in midmajors. Will Cherry was named as an all midmajor freshman all american this year. He was only rated in the mid 80's grade, but turned out to have PAC 10 talent, and very underrated out of highschool. If Autry and Jamar live up to their ratings, look out for Montana the next 4 years.

Seeing how Winthrop beat Coastal for the Big South Championship I'd def. say that Winthrop deserves to be in this list more than Coastal.

ODU finished 5th. Considering we return 6 of our top 7 scorers and have a deep bench, I'd expect us to stay in or around the top 5 for this coming season.
