Is it POSSIBLE???

Post by mtgrizfankb »

I dont see it... BUT i was just reading polls and wondering the big wonder.....lets say app st and jmu win out.. that puts them 1 and 2 for playoff ranks....... then cal poly loses and uni losses.....i could happen!

then who would be your other two seeds.... i see Montana if they win out in a 3 seed and to tell ya the truth i think that Weber State should get the 4th seed if that happend.

That would be four really tough seeds in my opinion... i woul love to see it.... what do you guys think of that happening??????

what if UNI does not Lose???

If all of that pans out, I would like it. The idea of Montana coming to Boone for a playoff game = AWESOME!

The only problem I see with it is that JMU, IMO, doesn't win out. They have been struggling as of late and they could drop one and then that would leave App St, Montana, Weber, UNI and CP.

There are ways, trust me there are ways. Lots of charters available that include game tix, flight, and usually a hotel for not a bad price.

Or, like in 1995, as long as the top seeds fall, the Griz will get home games until the last one.

Dreams are beautiful, aren't they...

JMU wins out...and you won't see two teams from the same conference seeded, so Weber gets a seed because they beat the Griz...

But, dream on...

Well might as well get it over with quickly. I don't mean to talk out of turn here, still 3 weeks left in the season and a lot of bad things could happen, but how about you call up the selection commitee and have them send Montana to App St. in the first round of the playoffs provided both teams make it this year.

I dont see weber getting a seed.... beacause they have more losses (yes i know to fbs) and they had two nobody wins (NAIA team and low DIV II team). Montana only has one loss and that always is a big pull with the commitee.. Sorry but two seeds is starting to look more realistic. every week. well een better is someone lost

If I had that kind of pull I would certainly try.

The BSC may get two teams into the tourney...but I don't see two seeds EVER coming from the same conference...

I believe the committee will have adequate reason to spread them around...

JMU...ASU...Weber/Montana (I won't argue that point) and one other outside those three conferences...

I don't think so. If the Griz play at App St. I think me, Mrs. Grizza and maybe a couple other people would stay somewhere else, probably in Raleigh (sp) Dads got a few friends there, and then go to the game.

Wow that is a dumb guess, how would montana get seeded on UNI.... do you realize that montana will win out and even if they dont they will be able to buy the first round game. Montana has a big time stadium and money silly one

Actually I think you are right, I don't see Montana playing UNI. And you are also right about the fact that WA/Griz stadium gets way more attention from the FCS for playoff games simply because of the money that they make from it. I believe that New Hampshire or Richmond could come to Montana to play. But, it's hard to say.

Ya i see a trip from one of the mid eastern schools traveling here. Altho i could maybe see a Umass???? idk how that would work but ay UNH or Rich i could see here.... if Mc N. gets in then maybe see them up here. i see Weber and CP playing somehow. I think there is prob a way the selection com. will get it done. then i see the winner traveling to montana the next week. ( if UM stays in of course)

I think i would love to see app.st play Um in the Champion game. It would be fun to watch. Two major fan bases meeting up in chatt.

I am not saying it will happen but SUU has some fight in them as of late. Anybody that plays them should not write them off. They can score and do capitalize on TO's. They are a much improved team than last year, and even the first couple of games this year.
