The problem with that "0.01 percenters" assertion is that its credibility is undermined by things like that video as well as personal experience. Look at that video. How many cops are in it? Do you have any reason to believe, at all, that the truth would have come out without that video? That guy was going to be charged with attacking police officers. In that scene that isn't "0.01" percent. And it's certainly hard to argue "0.01" percent when the truth came out because a video the police didn't know about was out there.I hope that every police officer you ever encounter for the rest of your life is a 0.01 percenter. No sh!t. I hope every cop you ever meet reinforces your opinion. It won't happen, by virtue of the fact that they are 0.01 percenters, but a man can hope, right?
As far as personal experience goes, you can believe me or not but I can point to my wife. Her brother is a police officer (well, a detective at this point). She used to think I was too harsh. But she's had enough experience now over the years with prick police officers that she has come over to my point of view. Like being harassed by officers at a DUI checkpoint when she wasn't intoxicated, etc.
