You got me all wrong I work with a legal Mexican immigrant and have no problem with that - follow the proper channels to citizenship, pay your taxes, you're golden in my book. No doubt this guy is legal and begging the cops to pull him so he can pull the profiling card which is bound to happen a lot. Get ready for the Hispanic equivalent of "driving while black" to get started. I'm not sure if Arizona is doing it the right way, but at least they're doing something to slow the inflow of illegals - Federal programs have been marginally effective at best, and the border states are the first line of defense to assist in slowing it down further.

For any lawful contact made by a law enforcement official or agency of this state or a county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state where reasonable suspicion exists that the person is an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States, a reasonable attempt shall be made, when practicable, to determine the immigration status of the person.

Perhaps the person who wrote this on the car is trying to find out is what is considered "Reasonable Suspicion" and how the state intends to determine status? Is there enough reasonable suspicion that someone is of a descent that we should question them about their citizenship?

They are far from split trust me and the information I have is first hand from the people involved. I dont care if you believe it or not, just trying to keep you educated and up to speed. Something you wont get from the media.
