Unintended Consequences of Arizona Boycott

Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce executive director Terri Kimble was surprised - and then touched - by a heartfelt phone call from an out-of-state veteran on Thursday.

The caller, who identified himself as Rich Meyers from Westport, Wash., told Kimble he intends to change his vacation plans this year and visit Arizona because so many others have called for a boycott of the state over the state's controversial immigration-enforcement law.
I'm gonna guess there's more than few out there like him.

Will it be enough to offset the losses? Will there be any conventions coming our way?

The Arizona Hotel and Lodging Association said six organizations had canceled conventions in the state, including the 11,000-member Immigration Lawyers Association, which had planned to hold its annual fall meeting in Scottsdale.

Why would one cancel a convention/conference just because of some law? Are there illegals working for said companies that would be attending?

The majority of the US will have forgot about this whole deal by the middle of next week so who cares. We cant even stick with sanctions on other countries that long its all about political posturing.

I know I am going to AZ this year at least twice.

Maybe even bring my convention down there as a change up.

Exactly so, AZGF! No matter how hard the libtards and their sycophant friends in the lamestream media try to spin it and cover it up, regular law abiding citizens can see for themselves who is peaceful and who is violent, who loves America and who tries to destroy it, who is responsible and who is not.

Let the fvcking libtard idiots march, shout obscene insults, threaten peaceful citizens, and throw things at the cops with their Mexican flags flying. Good and decent people can see for themselves who the real assholes are.

BS Native, EVERY white, conservative, gun owning person that expects personal responsibility is a racist because the left says so. It is impossible for a redneck with your IQ to have thoughts and not base it on skin color.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
