JSO couldn't paint anything remotely close to any of Picasso's paintings. It's harder than it looks.
I agree. General approval of the art community is good. Wealthy benefactors and collectors are priceless. I was turned away from art at an early age by that same art teacher. I was told that doing those types of things was not proper art, and was given an F on every assignment because I didn't match her idea of what things should look like. I can't draw people, fruit, houses, or whatever else. Those than can, to me, are true artists. Those who just throw paint at a canvas based on how their feeling, that isn't art to me. What does it matter that you were turned away at an early age? You still have the ability to throw paint right? Shit 93 and dback turned out almost identical looking paintings from MS paint, and they probably took them a couple minutes at the most.
