JMU "Pink Out" for Oct. 30 UMass game...

If JMU actually does this, it will NOT be a first for college football. Not too long ago, New Mexico State wore pink unis to support breast cancer research and took a ton of heat for it. I, of course, applauded them.

Not something I would wear every day, mind you, but for a good cause, anything would be fair game except purple and gold (that only because I can't stand Tokay High).

EDIT: BTW, the only guy who can get away with wearing pink on a daily basis is Bret Hart.

That's Iowa trying to mess with the Psyche of the opposing team, this is JMU doing it to themselves. Plus, the locker room is out of view of everyone.

I see a couple of reasons for this:

1-the breast cancer awareness
2-money. JMU now gets to create and market and sell tons of pink JMU gear.


I would also add that quite a few D1 basketball teams have done "pink outs" this past season.

We tried that last season. 60-70% of the women did it. No men. No chance for a pink out unless you only admit women.
