Wow - I didn't want to step in between you and Cluck, but wow.

First, I'm deemed "less than creative" by the guy who has come up with the screenames BangorHen, then SlaterHen (Bangor High School's nickname being the Slaters), then UDPA (Bangor being in PA), and now NorthHen (PA being north of Delaware). The irony here is so thick you can reach out and touch it (note, I wasn't really creative with that line, kinda paraphrased the line James Earl Jones used in the movie "Field of Dreams".).

And if I wanted to be thought of as the only person who could be GannonFan, I would've used the moniker of "The Gannonfan", ala "The Ohio State". I'll give you some insight - I spent all of a few seconds coming up with a name - I liked Rich Gannon and I went with that - it was really that simple. I mean, it's a screenname, I'm not taking out a mortgage.

And as for being "pissed", seriously, I couldn't have been less pissed. Heck, if you put that kind of thought into my screename and what that meant about me, then again, I have to just say wow - that's just flat out loony. Good luck with that.

NOTE: This thread was originally posted as a discussion of a Parade All American linebacker who announced a transfer from Florida.
Eventually, if you choose to read the thread, you will find that a former GoHens.com poster named "Cluck U" takes it upon himself to use the thread as a self-appointed, unprovoked mission for venting frustrations carried to this thread from the former GoHens site.
Efforts to redirect him to the topic of the thread or even to other topics of significance are unsuccessful despite a step-by-step process provided for his reference.
Eventually other GoHens posters call upon him for civility...to no avail.
At one point during his diatribes, "Cluck U" pronounced an intention to demonstrate a "body of work".
This thread illustrates that body of work.... not atypical of that found on the now inactive GoHens site.
Only read further if you have idle time to spare or have a desire to gain an inkling into the dynamics of the former GoHens site.

By the way... in an earlier post on the "GoHens suspended thread" by "Gannonfan" you'll see a mocking reference to PA District XI football... stems from the fact that KC Keeler rarely recruited that area... response by the KC supporters was that the area is "over-rated" and not worthy of UDs attention. You might want to respond to "Gannonfan" on that thread.

Cluck didn't have anything to do with this thread until you thought you could just repeat your normal pattern of posting by trying to villify posters that had nothing to do with this thread. The first mention of me on this thread came from you, 10th post in, as shown above. If you're upset about your own threads descending into chaos you only have to look at yourself. Unlike GoHens, people will respond to you here and that type of sophmoric behavior won't go unnoticed here.

It was on the GoHens site. Pretty much the same kind of interface, if you hadn't noticed. Honestly, whether or not you choose to ignore someone, you'll still have the option to view their posts simply by clicking a link. In my opinion, it all comes down to self control.

I believed he [Gannonfan] was being arrogant and I used the "Gannonfan" reference as an example. My simple point was that posters are free to choose any "name". Since "Gannonfan" was, I believe, one of the "founding fathers" of "GoHens", I believed it was a bit arrogant to assume the title of "Gannonfan"....as if none of the other UD fans posting on the site were fans of Rich Gannon or that HE had some special status to designate himself as THE "Gannonfan".
I also believed it to be less than creative...all "names" in the universe were available.
I also believed it was selected to draw attention to him, "Gannonfan", as somehow somebody special.

At the time... as an illustration... it made sense to include it as a constant example of arrogance....and likely pissed him off ...
