Yeah, you can tell by the increase in union membership.

Union membership has increased 2 out of the last 3 years, but that is irrelevant considering you were whining about corporations "buying" legislation. I'm sure labor unions aren't trying to 'buy' card check, either.
For the most part, workers aren't compelled to join unions (for now anyway) so when people are given a choice, they will most like decline an invitation to join.

Sounds good (not really), but we're talking two entirely different entities. As of September 2008, all corporate PACs combined only accounted for $214 Million in total donations.
On top of that, Donks far outdistanced Republicans as far as corporate donations go, so it really doesn't matter.

You are correct, Baldy, it doesn't matter a whit anymore since the SCOTUS ruling. I just give a fuck out of habit but I'm getting over it. Stay out of their way, opt out to the extent that you can, pay cash even if you have to pawn the spare tire, and if you ever get a chance to monkey-wrench them, carpe diem.
