So who in the White House tried to bribe Sestak?

Post by BDKJMU »

If someone in the White House offered Sestak a high-ranking job in the administration if he would drop out of the 2010 Democratic Senate primary race – thats a felony.

So what was Sestak offered? Sec of the Navy? An offer like that could only be made by someone very high up.
Who made the offer?
Did BHO know about it?

What is critical is whether an actual "job" was tendered as opposed to a message being sent along that his interests would be cared for in the future when a vacancy occured in an area that he would be interested. That happens all the time in politics and in both parties. It's called 'back scratching'. I do agree, though, that if a specific job was offered as a clear 'quid pro quo' for him dropping out, then a prosecution is warranted.
