Aw, yes,...John Babbitt...always good for a laugh...too bad he's not around. As Homeland Security Chief...

Before he became Sec. of Interior, while he was running for President...was at a Med School graduation back in the 80's where he was guest speaker...his speech...called for socialized medicine and fixed price health care.

...most of the folks there were sitting on $100k plus in loans...were expecting to get into practice and feel the rain...and this *&^*( suggested govt. controlled schedules...

About half didn't react...most were in shock, I think...the other half were so loaded they either didn't understand what he was suggesting or didn't care. The more the guy talked, the more you realized what a crackpot he was.

I suspect the reason Napolitano was selected pertained to their need for more token females who could be easily manipulated by the Dem obstructionists...basically, paralyze homeland defense for the next 8 years to allow more illegal immigrants to flood into the U.S....which equals more Dem voters. Think it's a joke...watch what happens to funding of the Border Fence construction and enforcement...with the economic situation, it gives the three stooges the "perfect" excuse to pull all funding or cancel any program that doesn't personally benefit the Dems...

...like I said...first, they paralyze any effective HS projects by defunding or canceling them, then through the regulatory process, remove the National Guard and Border Patrols means to adequately defend our homeland, then, when everyone begins to bitch and the bombs start going off...you propose a national "civlian defense" network...made up principally of nosy no-lifers, who'll sit around reporting "suspicious activity"...but the only "offenses" the CD members can report are code violations, minor penal code violations, environmental protection violations, i.e., "violations" that do not require a professional Law Enforcement response, but can be "enforced" through mailed citations...i.e., an easy way to increase revenue while at the same time instilling fear and mistrust in each citizen, making it easier for government to eliminate freedoms under the guise of "protecting the community".
