Laker Fans: Refs Hosed Us!

Hmm with 90 seconds remaining in the game LA had 39 free throw attempts to Boston's 18?

Laker fans are a joke.

Derek Fisher.

And I'm not a big NBA fan but where did this ridiculous replay rule come from? I mean the ability to challenge anything under 2 minutes without the risk of losing a timeout?

Ray Allen 0-fering last night? Wow. Paul Pierce was small too. Kobe played awesome for 3 qtr's & then Fisher picked up the slack in the 4th. I don't like using replay like they did last night, you could tell on the Odom out-of-bounds call that it doesn't work right. The ball was off of Odom as correctly called on replay, but it was off of Odom because Rondo clearly fouled him. It's a call the refs make consistently for 48 minutes, they don't call the foul but give the ball to the other team, it just didn't work in that situation.

That is really the only issue i have with replay. Fouls aren't able to be reviewed, I get that and agree with that. However, in cases like last night I would like them to say since there was a foul that can't be called the ball will go the other way.

There is crying in basketball though. At least in the NBA. Phil Jackson complains about the officiating before a series even starts. After every game the first thing the coaches want to do is work the refs for the next game. It's as if the coaches are conceding that it is the officials who decide NBA playoff games, not the players.

This is one area where the NHL is much better than the NBA. After an NHL playoff game the coaches want to talk about the work effort of their team, not work the officials.

Yep. This is something I can't stand about the NBA, and thebetterhalf has commented on this multiple times every game as I watch it. Everytime a guy has a call go against him, even if it is clearly the right call, he cries like a little fucking bitch about it. These two teams happen to be the worst at it...especially fucking Boston.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
