Dominate?
Definitely. They'd be in the top 2 with Michigan State (if Izzo doesn't leave) year in and year out.

Most Maryland fans would miss playing UNC and Duke, but not Gary Williams.

You guys are crazy - the Big 10 as a whole has underperformed basketball-wise over the past few years, but the top of the Big 10 isn't weak. Mich St, Purdue, Ohio St, Wisconsin - these aren't chump programs.

Maryland was 1-2 against the Big 10 this year. Maybe could've squeezed another OOC game against the Big 10 in this year but the Terps were busy losing, at home, to William and Mary.

You're absolutely right. I was just trying to bait mister one word wonder into providing any sort of commentary other than " ". I do think Maryland would do pretty well in the Big Ten though, finishing near the top most years.

If Indianapolis source has it right
Big16 East - Maryland, Michigan, Mich State, Penn State, Syracuse, Rutgers, Ohio State, Notre Dame
If Izzo leaves who beats Maryland consistantly?
Dominate may have been too strong a word, but that league is dramatically easier than the ACC.

It would definately be easier to get to 20 wins.

The more I think about it, Maryland just might jump. The ACC has never treated the nonCarolina schools well.

Hey GannonJeff, your skepticism is showing
j/k

No shame in losing to the #4 team in the nation in the NCAA tourney in the last seconds or to losing to the #24 team. In the 4 years prior to last year Maryland went 7-0 against the Big Ten.

Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State (even without Izzo), Syracuse.

Maryland would be a top program, but the Big 10 has a lot of depth as well.

I find it kind of funny that once the Nebraska move becomes "official", then the Big 10 will have 12 teams (current 11 plus Nebraska), and the Big 12 will have 10 teams (current twelve minus Colorado and Nebraska).

Unless some of the other announcements are made in the meantime.

What's the history of the ACC/B10 made for TV "challenge" been like for the B10?

Other than MSU, the B10 is the single most over-hyped over-blown over-rated conf in the country.

What was the B10 record before last year? How many of these "challenges" have there been, and how many has the B10 won?

And the ACC won the 10 years prior.
And the ACC has a 67-40 win-loss advantage over the Big Ten since the beginning of the tourney.
What's your point?
