Duke wins it 78-58. Not too bad for a Griz team that's still gaining experience & cohesiveness, especially considering the 85-55 loss to Colorado State just a week ago. They led 13-9 in the 1st. half before a big Duke run. The Griz played Duke about even in the 2nd. half (31-30) & they actually outshot the Blue Devils slightly (& noticeably from the arc). Turnovers & rebounding were the killers.
4 starters in double figures for Duke (Singler, Henderson, Smith, Scheyer). Jordan Hasquet led Montana with 15 points & 7 boards; Jack McGillis & Anthony Johnson each had 9 points.
