Happy 235th Birthday to the US Army. 14 June 1775: The members of the Continental Congress (2nd) formed a new Army for the wobbly confederation of Colonies. The next day they looked for a commander, and who did they find sitting in their midst in full military regalia? COL George Washington came in full uniform every day. He became the new commander of a rag-tag bunch of rebels and revolutionaries! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS OUR COUNTRY!
