Ubaldo is quickly becoming my favorite Rockies player behind Tulowitzki and Hawpe. The guy is a machine.. all he does is get outs. It helps that the Rox play great defense, which always helps a pitcher out.

When he threw his no-hitter his final pitch came in at 97... he has incredible endurance.

The Rockies game TBH and I went to last year Ubaldo was the pitcher and I was very excited to see him in person, even last year before he was a "household name". I think he went 7..ish...but the last pitch he threw was 99 MPH. I knew right then, that if he got his control controlled a little bit more he was going to be a 20 game winner, maybe 25. That kind of velocity just isn't seen anymore from a starter.

I was listening to some sports radio yesterday and apparently they were ableto measure the movement on his 4 seem fastball. It had something like 9 inches of horizontal movement and 6-8 inches of vertical movement. At 96+MPH that won't be hit hard anywhere by anyone, and if it is kudos to that hitter.

And he's now 11-1 through 12 starts.

And it's STILL a possibility, Travis. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

All I meant AZ, was how impressive Jimenez has been that his ERA changing to .93 was actually an increase.

Ubaldo got unlucky in start #13.

He had to pitch in a freaking monsoon, I have no idea why they played tonight. He couldn't grip his fastball and was only throwing about 92-96 mph instead of the usual 96-100. However, he still got his 12th win and third complete game (granted, it was only 6 innings).

Tonight's stats: 6 IP (CG), 5 H, 3 ER (season-high), 6 K

Season stats: 12-1, 1.16 ERA, 93 1/3 IP, 12 ER, 34 BB, 84 K, 0.98 WHIP

And, yes, 30 wins is still a possibility. Even if he only wins half of his remaining starts, he'll get to 22.

Start # 14 (at MIN):

Today's stats: 8 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 4 K

Season stats: 13-1, 1.15 ERA, 101 1/3 IP, 13 ER, 36 BB, 88 K, 1.00 WHIP

30 wins is still a possibility. He should have at least 15 by the all-star break.

I don't think anyone is claiming he WILL win 30 games. Your fucking dumbass can't comprehend the fact that it is still a damn possibility he could get there though.

21-22 starts left. Do the math there fucker, even at 21 starts the math looks like this 21starts + 13wins = 34 possible wins.

So because you fail at understanding math I'm supposed to "fuck off fucker".

Again, I don't recall anyone is saying he will do it....but it is still possible.

So you are denying that with 13 wins and 21 or 22 starts left it isn't mathematically possible for Ubaldo to get to 30 wins? Yes or no answer only.
