You guys love montana. They have that nice stadium and as far as you (teddy bear lovers) are concern they seem to be superior than the rest of the big sky teams. Why not leave this dump and head for the big time. Get into the W.a.c. or something..... maybe get into a BCS game or two. why arent you guys pushing for that?

Because the WAC sucks. I don't want to have the Griz win the WAC & then get rewarded with a marvelous trip to the Obscure Computers Jack Sh!t Bowl in Boise.

I agree with AZ on the move thing. If they decide to do it someday then so be it but I love watching football at this level. I also like our conference very much and do have a ton of respect for the teams in our conference. I have acted to you as if I have a sense of entitlement and that the Griz are better than you guys just for smack aspect of it all. I get butterflies when we play teams like EWU, The Bobcats, Weber, NAU, and in any given year any of the other teams in our conference. Our conference has done a bery good job of preparing the Big Sky teams that make the playoffs to compete adn normally get to the final eight or four in our division. If you look at the margins of victory that Big Sky teams defeat others in the playoffs then you can see that we all usually have a tougher time in conference. We haven't won enough at this level for my tastes to think we need to move up a 1/2 notch and have very little chance of being a player on the national scene. We don't have the resources currently to be anything other than a middle of the road toad at the next level. As it is right now when I buy my season tickets every year I can plan on seeing some great competition and a chance to make a title run.

It's just my opinion Blackalkin' but I would truly rather be in this conference with the quality of teams that we play every week and have a shot in the playoffs than be in Fresno's position. I love being able to go over to Spokane to watch games. I was so excited for EWU in the playoff that I went over there and watched a playoff game and rooted them on when we lost the week before. The media and the public will only know how good you are if you get to play the game and let a loss end your season. You could be the best team in the country or one of the top 10 teams at the very least and if the big conference don't lose and play themselves out of bowl games you would never get to prove it. EWU is a perfect example of this...they were great last year and considered one of the last teams in the playoffs and they were a couple plays away from possibly going to the final two in the nation and possible THE TEAM IN THE NATION. That's why I love where we're at.
