I'm not trying to be a dick here, but can't you do an overall Sox thread and put all of this stuff in one place?

Just an idea.

Sox may have to make a trade as both of their AAA catchers are hurt. Thyere are several guys they have interest in, but no deal has gotten done because the price hasn't been right, Sox might need to pay the ransom for Max Ramirez, Chris Snyder or Chris Ianetta, those are the names most associated with Boston over the past several months.

I dunno if the Red Sox have what the Rockies want to get Ianetta.. specifically, a 2B that can hit, premier reliever (or at least one that can get an out in a late inning), or another starter. I've heard the Rocks are possibly going to chase Cliff Lee and Dan Uggla. Booya.

This past off season Boston had a deal in place to send Mike Lowell and nearly all his 2010 salary to Texas for Max Ramirez. The deal fell through when it was determined Lowell needed surgery. Lowell is on the DL now so this exact deal wouldn't be revisited but the Sox do have numerous prospects they can offer.

It was previously reported that Arizona had asked for Buchholz in a deal for Snyder, the offer was turned down immediately and that was before he put up the first half he has. It was recently reported that Boston also turned down a Buchholz for Cliff Lee deal so its safe to say Buchholz is not available in any deal.

Boston does have a long list of quality prospects they can offer but a few names that are untouchable are:

Clay Buchholz
Daniel Bard
Casey Kelly
Jose Iglesias

This is their highest rated 2B prospect who is hitting well this year, but he doesn't have a TOA until late 2012.

They don't have any RP specific guys in their top 20 but several SP there that could be used as a RP. They do have guys in the 20-40 range that are RP
