Greetings From The Best Damn Poll

Hello you FCS maniacs! I am The Greek, owner of The Best Damn Poll In The Land (http://www.thebestdamnpoll.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) As some of you may know, TBDPITL and fanplay.com are going to be taking the college football world by storm this year. We will be providing the great members and fans of this site an FCS balloting system so you can generate an FCS top 25 just like we at TBDPITL generate our FBS top 25.

I would also like to extend the invitation for those of you interested, to participate in our FBS poll this season.

But my main reason for this post is to inform all of you that the FCS balloting system has been tested and is ready to roll. We are now inserting the FCS schools and their helmet images into the balloting database, and we should be ready for a dry run as early as July 5th.

Again, we are very excited to have this incredible partnership with a great site like championshipsubdivision.com and fanplay.com...and some of the best damn fans on the planet!

It is time that the fans had a voice in college football, and together, we will work toward that goal!

Have all the details been worked out with how our system works? What exactly is the process as far as the voting? Do we vote on your site and then get the information back or does it all just post on your site?

What I mean is this...

If I cast my vote there do I just do it under my username here. Have you guys worked with Travelinman at all on how ours tallies and so forth because it is base on my team affiliation, conference, etc...

I just didn't know that this was all done already and was looking for more information in case it was not done with Tman's involvement.

I didn't see that when I tried to do a "test" vote and I'm having trouble trying to drag and drop the FBS teams and I sent Cocky an email earlier to the same effect. If you'd like I can go and copy you on it.

If you are having issues with the drag and drop...

Using IE 8...make sure javascript is enabled (IE 7 should not have issues either...but IE 6 is not compatible with our balloting system)
Using Firefox...very rarely does FF have an issue...sometimes you may need to load the plug-in "active x"

I am free all day Monday if you want to trouble shoot...

I recommend using Firefox to all our members...those that can (folks at work are pretty much stuck using the browser their techs have determined the "best"...LOL)

As far as specs on voting totals...if you'd like to email me exactly what you need, I will get them installed tonight...

It was just something me and Willie were doing to see what the possible glitches could be and get them worked out before we actually tried a "test" poll.
