What are you crying about with him now?

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Because Girardi picked Paul Konerko over Kevin Youkilis to take Justin Morneau's spot on the AL all-star roster.
Don't tell him that Girardi delegated the decision to Joba Chamberlain.

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
I don't understand why Travis wants Red Sox players on the all-star team. It's better if they rest. Also, they end up using all-star selections come contract negotiations. The team ends up paying more for them, or letting them go.JoltinJoe wrote:Because Girardi picked Paul Konerko over Kevin Youkilis to take Justin Morneau's spot on the AL all-star roster.

Travis is right, which makes the thread even funnier.

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
So what? Are you that upset that Youkilis won't get one at bat on Tuesday? That is all he likely would have gotten.UNHWildCats wrote:Youkilis deserves it more.DJH wrote:Konerko deserved it.
The all star game sucks. When they go to 25 man rosters and get rid of the requirement that every team gets one rep then I may start watching again.
Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Agreed, with the exception that there should be at least five starting pitchers and maybe three relievers. Nobody wants their ace blown out in an exhibition. I would be more than content with Uncle Cholly keeping Doc on the bench all night on Tuesday. And feel free to let Tim Hudson pitch all night.BlueHen86 wrote:So what? Re: Dear Joe Girardi
How about 3 starters and 5 relievers. The problem with starters is that you can't use them if they pitched the weekend before the game. Just about any reliever you pick should be ready to go.93henfan wrote:Agreed, with the exception that there should be at least five starting pitchers and maybe three relievers. 3 starters pitch 2 innings each, then let the relievers do their job.
Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Not a bad plan, but what happens if the last relievers are going in a tie game and Bud Selig is still alive?BlueHen86 wrote:How about 3 starters and 5 relievers. Home run derby to decide the game, or let an infielder pitch.93henfan wrote:Not a bad plan, but what happens if the last relievers are going in a tie game and Bud Selig is still alive?BlueHen86 wrote:

Actually, each team should have 9 or 10 pitchers that are able to pitch (just like a ML roster), if a starter is selected that can't pitch he should be replaced (he can stay on the roster as an honorary player but not eligible to pitch).

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Kevin Youkilis must have slept with Girardi's wife or daughter or something.
Adrian Beltre our and is replaced by Michael Young... yet another less deserving player being taken over Youk.

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Gosh, you'd almost think the Yankees and Red Sox were rivals or something with all this injustice.

Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Wow this is getting even better. Girardi replaced Beltre on the roster and Beltre hasn't passed on the game yet.
for the time being anyway Young isnt an all star. Beltre will give his ankle a work through this afternoon and decide then if he is good to go for the All Star game.
Re: Dear Joe Girardi
Youkilis is never going to get an invite from Joe Girardi. Girardi hates him.

This is all just so sad...
Maybe you can make one of those Hitler videos where he rails against Girardi and no Youkoulis in the ASG - those are funny...

The first ONE was funny. All the rest of the unimaginative fucks doing the same god damn thing are not funny at all.93henfan wrote:Oh c'mon. The first 1,500 or so were kind of funny.Ursus A. That's what I got out of what you said there. I'm pretty sharp with the sarcasm stuff.
I completely agree with what I said you said.

Which was the first one you saw? For me, it was the North Dakota "but we still have hockey" one. If that was also your first, then I agree with what you said I said.Ursus A.
