Not bad! I know you got a lot to do but you think you could try flipping the helmet color and the jersey color? Id be interested to see what that would look like with the tribal flame eagle logo on the helmet
Well this should stoke Ursus' bonfire some.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

What...the colors? If that's the reason, there's not much I can do. The template has a mind of it's own and didn't like Liberty's shade of red.

No Willie, the fact that you already did one and then someone asks you for another when you've already said that they take about a 1/2 hr. to do each and nobody gives you anything for your work is what I assume andy was saying.

Hell I don't care one way or the other but I put it out there to some of those that seemed disappointed that their stuff wasn't done soon enough that you are giving them something for free that you actually got a degree in so they could back off that shit a little.

I think they all look great. :thumb:

You can always do a soft light custom paint layer over the top of it and drop the opacity as needed. ;)

I didnt mean to raise a big stink over it...I was just wondering if we could see what it could look like if the colors were reversed on the helmet and the uniform. Sorry if that was a bother Willie

You didn't cause a stink. There's just a lot of editing and small details that take time and once I finish one, I usually scrap the photoshop document of it to save space since they are large file sizes.

Dear Simon,
Actually, you were asking me to design a logotype which would have taken me a few hours and fifteen years experience. For free. With pie charts. Usually when people don't ask me to design them a logo, pie charts or website, I, in return, do not ask them to paint my apartment, drive me to the airport, represent me in court or whatever it is they do for a living. Unfortunately though, as your business model consists entirely of "Facebook is cool, I am going to make a website just like that", this non exchange of free services has no foundation as you offer nothing of which I wont ask for.
Regards, David
So much win. :thumb:

This type of deal is the same beef us photographers have and run into on a daily basis out on assignment.

Or what my college is trying to do with me. I designed a logo for their new business school for a class, and they want me to hand it to them for free. Fuck you is basically what I told them. I know it's worth a lot of money...and if they want it, my student loans are going to go away for them to get it.

shoot, I didn't know they took a half an hour.. thought it was a color swap thing and the logos were done already..
If the logos are being vectored in, then that is quite a bit of work.

Hell, took me a couple hours to do the EWU one. Then again, I'm not as deft in PS as Willie is, and I was high at the time.

This is pretty awsome!! Hey Willie, can you do a Furman one?
Dear lord... please allow this dangerous combination of hair spary, bat slobber, and D.O.T. four automatic transmission fluid to excite my mind, occupy my spirits, and enrage my body, provoking me to kick any man or woman in the back of the head regardless of what he or she has or has not done unto me. All my Best, Earlie Cuyler.

Hey you gotta admit, my line was pretty creative.

I have a list of ones I haven't done...but here's the catch. I'll do them if you donate to my site to help keep it going. Even if it's like $2.50, that's better than nothing. I just can't afford to do so much for free any more since I'm competing for jobs. There is a donate link at my site. I really appreciate it. I'll do the unis over the weekend as I have time.

About as creative as your design work. :coffee:

:kisswink: I certainly wouldn't mind some feedback (positive and negative) from you though on my stuff if you didn't mind... as I'm no pro and didn't go to school for it. I've kinda just taught myself design using elements from something I'm good at and trying to make a living out of; photography. When I was hired onto the Student Programming Board at EWU in 2007/2008 as a "promotions coordinator," (essentially my job was to design and distribute advertisement for our events), I had no design experience whatsoever... just my photography experience/background.

This was the first time I looked at the site in a long time. Looking good.

Why don't you have your greatest single creation ever, my avatar, on your site?

Yeah I built my own theme for it. Took forever.

And I don't because I don't have an avatar section.
