I'm serious. What's wrong with a Touchdown Jerry mural?

My other serious question: if Delaware ever plays at Liberty, will they allow me to wear my Tinky Winky suit inside the stadium?

I'd also trade Delaware for LU, as well.

When a school is better known for its "wall of piss" vs contributions to the CAA, its time to go.

One may or may not agree with Falwell's ideology, but the lack of respect given to LU by certain liberal posters is downright rude.

Well, dimbulb, first of all I'm not a liberal. Second, how many championships does ODU have in football again? Yeah, that's what I thought. This is not a mid-major basketball enthusiast site, so I'm not in awe of any success ODU may have in mid-major basketball tournaments. Delaware won a couple of those when I was there and to be frank, I was more excited watching women's soccer. And third, I don't lack "respect" for Liberty, though I'm not sure why I'm supposed to respect them in the first place.

well this is just the way i was raised BUT to me respect is one of the most important things to have in life. not just self respect but respect for others. ESPECIALLY in sports :) unless a team downright gets stupid and disrespects liberty (which has happened in the past in basketball) i have respect for all teams. and id also love LU to move to the CAA in ALL sports :) i think its time LU and the Big South go our separate ways. Liberty would be able to keep up in football but would STRUGGLE in the other sports. BUT i think after 4-5 years they could be competitors in the rest of the sports. well....thats my dream at least haha

So you want to be in the CAA, huh? There are a few thresholds of tolerance you'll have to meet before deciding to ask for an invite:

1. Are you OK if you take your kids down to William & Mary for their homecoming and they parade a tranny out as homecoming queen?

2. Have you ever played dodge-the-drunken-priest-behind-the-wheel while tailgating after a game? You'll need to be sharp if you head to Villanova. Also, if having three times the number of fans as the home team creeps you out, stay away from the Main Line. They'll always be a basketball school with "our football team that plays in Division 2".

3. Do you mind the smell of urine on your tires? Yes, we have a urination problem at UD. Ask an App State poster. They all have the hotlink saved of a Delaware fan peeing on his car at Chatty.

4. Streamers. It's just what one team does. No one knows why.

5. Pimps, hookers, crackheads, gangs, random violence, racial tension, dogfighting, slums, third-tier ranked schools like ODU. Ah, nothing better than a trip to Norfolk.

Interesting comment considering I have never seen an actual Delaware fan in Norfolk. That will change with football, I am sure, but your fan support for that pathetic excuse of a basketball team is nonexistent.

Never knew that Wilmington, DE and greater Philly area was now free of of drugs, slums, gangs, and random violence. Must be that great work done by Mr. Shabazz at the last election to ensure all of you crackers toe the line.

Dogfigthing was in rural Surry county, but don't let the facts get in the way of your sweeping generalizations - in fact, Philly (and Camden, NJ) are closer to Newark than Surry is to ODU.

I do apologize for call you a liberal, however.

I agree with LadyFlame about respect - again, one may not agree with Mr. Falwell's philsophies, but I admire how fast LU has grown and the committment of their athletic department for future success.

Again, who gives a fuck about basketball? I'm sure there's a board for that. Take your basketball talk there. I had absolutely zero interest in basketball even when Delaware was making back to back trips to the NCAA tourney when I attended.

Newark has nothing to do with Wilmington DE or Philadelphia, PA. Not sure where you're going with that or who "Mr. Shabazz" is. :?

Fair enough, but wasn't Mike Vick's entourage just busting off caps outside a Mexican restaurant within spitting distance of Norfolk a few days ago? The place (Guadalajara Town Center) appears closer to the Norfolk hood than the ocean to me.

I find it odd that you mixed your first respect post with shots at Delaware, but whatever.

The way I see it no matter where you go there's going to be some kind of craziness going on. Just enjoy the athletic events (especially football) and take what you can out of it. If someone pees on the tires then wash the vehicle, if there's a drunk driver in front of me I'll stay behind him and call the cops (for his safety not to screw him over), my point is stuff happens, just make the best you can out of any situation :)

ODU fans tried to argue basketball with us UNI fans...that bit them in the ass quit hard in February. PillowBiter wasn't one of them though. He probably the best ODU fan in that whole thing.

Was a fun trip, even if not a successful conquest.

Wow, that's going to be a nice addition.

I like how you guys are keeping the surrounding grounds true to the typical southern yard as well. Four pickups, generators, trailers, outhouse, and just random stuff everywhere. :thumb:

Got to have some greenery there too. I love the 1 completely random tree that just sits there. Definitely looks out of place.
