Hogwash. You're assuming that Obama makes it out of the bloody primary. At this point, anyone who thinks that's a given is insane.

I find it HIGHLY weird that uber-liberal CNN would give Palin better numbers than arch-conservative Fox. I don't know a thing about the bias (if any) in the other groups you cited.
i glanced through this link quickly and grabbed what i could find as the most recent numbers from each. Its possible there are more recent numbers from them that arent posted there though.

FWIW the Fox number is from January and the CNN from April which could explain the smaller margin in the CNN poll.

That explains why you didn't give links the 1st time. Figures you'd be giving poll #s up to 6 months old. How about sticking to ones within the last month if you're going to do a comparison.

Not nominating a sitting President is the sure formula for defeat, even if the opponent is Alfred E. Neuman, so stop thinking Obama will not be the Dem candidate.

Oh, come on, CID. There IS precedent. Given his cr@p, if recall were provided for, he'd be out of a job right now.

How about an hour long made for TV special on ESPN.

Have you never heard of a recall election? If provision were made for POTUS to be recalled, Obama would be out on the street. Unfortunately for us (and lucky for him), the Constitution doesn't make provision for that.

Cali knows all about recalls. Gov Gray Davis was deservingly yanked from office early in the 2000s. The choice for his replacement was unfortunate, but Davis was a freaking disaster just as Obama is.

Then why didn't you just say recall election in the first place.

I thought you meant total recall, like they have on your home planet; Mars.

Palin needs to remain a joke so that the GOP can run a strong candidate against Obama in the 2012 election, forcing Obama to pivot once again to the left for the election cycle before returning to his corporatist ways.

Much misplaced anti-socialist hang wringing will ensue.
