She travels a ton with work, and has been to old Yankee stadium and Wrigley twice (all for free) in spite of the fact that she cares nothing about it and I'm not sure even fully understands the game.

She's sending me texts from inside the game. Life isn't fair sometimes.

Put her jewelry up for sale on eBay and send her the links so that she has to bid to keep it. Sure, you won't get any for the forseeable future, but you can use the money to go on some wicked awesome Vegas trips with your buddies...

She doesn't care about the game? Probably fits in well with most cubs fans then..

It's not quite Wrigley, but my wife and kids went to see the Durham Bulls (in Durham) on Friday night. They're visiting the inlaws. I was spared. Yes!
I too got texts. Apparently they were sitting in the first row behind the dugout and the Bulls' catcher flipped my son a ball. Pretty cool.

That is cool. As a kid went to a ton of minor league games (also Braves games which wasn't much different back then other than Henry Aaron batting) and there was no bigger thrill as a kid than to get a ball from one of the players. Of course at the time, I didn't realize the 15 minute conversation my dad and I had with a 19 year old pitcher for the Greenville Mets would become my biggest baseball thrill later. But I had to wait until Nolan Ryan made the majors for me to realize that I should have been thrilled while the conversation was going on.93henfan wrote:It's not quite Wrigley, but my wife and kids went to see the Durham Bulls (in Durham) on Friday night.
