I agree, it seems like right around Liberty there is some stuff to do. My friend and I drove up to your campus to watch ODU play you guys in basketball this past year (73-41 ODU win. ) and it seemed like we almost literally drove through the middle of nowhere to get to Lynchburg. However, I will say your amentities on campus seem pretty nice...we walked into your Student Recreation Center or Student Union or whatever and it did look pretty nice from what I remember.

Well thats funny. about 15 of my friends and I drove up to ODU for our game in that awesome arena of yours. of course I have family in the area around HR so I've always known how nice it is up there. and we didn't get hassled too bad when we went out to eat at SOBO after the game. I did however have Ice cream and cake stuck in my head for the next week.

yeah, The Ted is AWESOME. Like one once said..."it's an NBA Arena without the cheapseats". Hopefully we play you guys in football in the upcoming years so you can make another trip down and see our old but slightly new Foreman Field and FWIW we DO NOT do "Ice Cream and Cake" at football games....THANK GOD. Also believe it or not I've never been to SOBO in my 3 years at ODU. Next time I suggest Monarch Sports Grille, except after a football game it might not be a good idea since I've tried going and about 10,000 people have the same idea so try going before the game if you can.

March 1993: Despite his promise to Jewish groups to stop referring to America as a "Christian nation," Falwell gives a sermon saying, "We must never allow our children to forget that this is a Christian nation. We must take back what is rightfully ours."

1994-1995: Falwell is criticized for using his "Old Time Gospel Hour" to hawk a scurrilous video called "The Clinton Chronicles" that makes a number of unsubstantiated charges against President Bill Clinton--among them that he is a drug addict and that he arranged the murders of political enemies in Arkansas. Despite claims he had no ties to the project, evidence surfaced that Falwell helped bankroll the venture with $200,000 paid to a group called Citizens for Honest Government (CHG). CHG's Pat Matrisciana later admitted that Falwell and he staged an infomercial interview promoting the video in which a silhouetted reporter said his life was in danger for investigating Clinton. (Matrisciana himself posed as the reporter.) "That was Jerry's idea to do that," Matrisciana recalled. "He thought that would be dramatic."

November 1997: Falwell accepts $3.5 million from a front group representing controversial Korean evangelist Sun Myung Moon to ease Liberty University's financial woes. The donation, and several Falwell appearances at Moon conferences, raised eyebrows because Moon claims to be the messiah sent to complete the failed mission of Jesus Christ, a doctrine sharply at odds with Falwell's fundamentalist Christian theology. Back in the BC, wasn't there prophecy and such saying that the "Messiah" or whatever would be Jewish? Or did JC just happen to be a Jew? (not really a theological scholar, but I thought I remembered hearing something along those lines).

Anyhow, my point being that if JC was prophesized to be a Jew, what is so wrong with prophesizing that the anti-JC would be a Jew as well?
