Montana folk like football. And showing up at the national championship game is just another game for them whether the Griz are there or not. I know a couple that have been to all but one championship game since 2001. It is just their vacation every year and the game is one of their stops.

From what I saw on another site, a lot of rooms have been canceled. Are you trying the hotels directly or through Orbitz, etc. ?

The UNI fans need to worry about filling out the dome this weekend before you worry about Chatty. FWIW, I'm sure there are a lotta App rooms left....would be interesting to see how many of the rooms were actually purchased by Richmond fans before last wekend.

I just checked Orbitz and there seems to be plenty of rooms available. There's a Day's Inn less than a mile away with a price in the mid-$50's.

I'm not sure which three you're talking about. But the Holiday Inn-Chattanooga Choo and the Sheraton Read House both have rooms available.
