Moving games to 11:30 am kickoffs for a mediocre TV package is absurd. What about one of the many Fox College Sports networks? MASN is pretty much a waste too.

Well, MASN/MASN2 is pretty good in metro-Richmond. I hope they (or someone) picks up VMI's two SportSouth telecasts.
And, maybe some on the FTN will be on MASN delay.

Re: Big South TV Package Largest Ever
that sucks... Time Warner doesn't carry SportsSouth or ESPN3.com in my area.
Re: Big South TV Package Largest Ever
MASN is a good deal for the Big South. It may not be on many providers in rural NC but it has a pretty decent footprint in the mid-Atlantic region. Besides, televised games are a good recruiting tool no matter what time kickoff is.g-webb1994 wrote:Moving games to 11:30 am kickoffs for a mediocre TV package is absurd. DK, ESPN3.com is the new name for ESPN360, their web-streaming outlet. It's available anywhere there's internet access.

ONLY if your ISP has an agreement with ESPN. Mine does not.Libertine wrote:DK, ESPN3.com is the new name for ESPN360, their web-streaming outlet. It's available anywhere there's internet access.
Re: Big South TV Package Largest Ever
I've gotta say...I think this is a good package for the Big South. I was expecting a lot of these games to be via the Flames Sports Network, but some of those ESPN3.com games are a good pull.
Congrats!

You can pay for ESPN3 if your ISP doesn't have the agreement. It's available everywhere, just not necessarily for free.SumItUp wrote:ONLY if your ISP has an agreement with ESPN. DK: email me and I will give you my ESPN3 account info.
Re: Big South TV Package Largest Ever
If you can pay for it, it certainly isn't clear how much it costs or where you can sign up. I spent 20 minutes looking through their site and FAQ section. The closest thing that I can find is their suggestion to switch to a different ISP that offers the service. I do not think it is available everywhere there is internet service.SuperJon wrote:You can pay for ESPN3 if your ISP doesn't have the agreement.
