FAMU: Not getting field turf just yet

Post by FAMU Rattler70 »

Construction is underway to replace the grass at Bragg Memorial Stadium. The new grass will be natural grass. The campaign to add artificial turf will continue through football season with a goal of installing it before Spring practice.

If Rattler football is all that is played in that stadium, why go to field turf? I would have to guess that Tallahassee is a pretty good place to grow grass.

BTW, I'm not an agronomist, but starting new turf the second week of August? :dunce: :ohno:
