Yep...and the rest of Bill Hall's stats are complete shit. He seems to be an all or nothing hitter.

I actually had to look his stats up to know what team he even played for.

Hell, his OPB is lower than a lot of batting averages.

Hardy has also been injured much of the season, and battling injurys when he has been playing. I've also never started a thread comparing JJ to one of the best players in the league...even though JJ has been an all star short stop.

Oh...and the Twins have a better record than the White Sox right now.

I knew what team he played for when I saw that Travis started this thread.

I honestly never of the guy before. I doubt if many people are scratching their heads over him.

I wasn't sure. With Longoria playing for a division rival I thought it was some attempt to "bash" Longoria and the Rays...even though the Sox are something like 6 back

Oh...and since Hardy/Twins were brought up:

The Twins currently lead the majors in batting average, on base percentage, and hits. Oh, and just so you don't think they are all singles, the Twins are 3rd in the majors in slugging (yes I realize Boston is first in that but their team BA is 12 points lower).

And Boston has played a CF/LF of Daniel Nava, Ryan Kalish, Josh Reddick, Darnell McDonald, Eric Patterson, Jonathan Van Every, and Bill Hall for 95% of the season... Now when your done scratching your head over those names....

Anyway I dont want to say anything bad about the Twins, cause as its shaping up Boston likely will miss the playoffs and the Twins will be who I am rooting for in the AL.... Hmmm how sweet would a 1991 rematch be?

Going into this season everyone was ripping Theo because they said Boston would have a lousy offense.... Interesting though that even with Ellsbury playing less than 30 games, Pedroia missing 7 weeks, Youk gone for the final two months, having Kevin Cash and his merry men of never has been catchers for 6 weeks while Tek and Martinez were on the DL (and btw, sox catchers had ZERO RBI in Martinez's absence) the Sox offense has been one of the best ever for Boston... they are going to hit 200 HRs and have a shot at the ML record for doubles in a season.

Outside or Liriano, Mauer, Morneau, and maybe Hardy, Cuddy, and Hudson, how many Twins players has anyone heard of? That includes players who have spent time in the bigs with the Twins

Pavano, Young, Thome, Span, Repko, Punto, Kubel, Harris, Slowey, Blackburn, Baker, Rauch, Mahay, Capps, Neshek

Granted I aint a casual baseball fan so others may never heard of some of them. But theres a few names there lots of people have heard of.... and I realize atleast 1 is a recent acquisition.

There are 50-75 Bill E. Halls out there.

There's only 2-3 Evan Longorias.
