They are pretty close to what we have had in the past. We have had the same road uniforms for quite a while now (in terms of uniform length)

This photo is from 2007, but they are the same ones we have been wearing




Gold outlines, tips of the stripe taken off. I wasn't sure what I thought of it at first, but the more I see them the more I like them.


Supposedly we have been wearing last years home jersey's as practice jerseys, so I'm wondering if we got new home uniforms as well.

Apparently we did get new home uniforms. I haven't heard anything other than what we supposedly have now.

Apparently we are ditching the black pants look. We are going with White pants with a Purple stripe, with a Purple top with a White stripe like Miami uses. Now, I don't know if that means we are going with the old Miami/current App State look, of if we are going with the current Miami looks.

In case you don't know what Miami currently has, it is similar to ODU


So, doing my best NCAA 11 team builder mock up apparently this is what UNI is going with this year

For the home it should be the standard one.

For the road it will be the alternate pants with the road uniforms.

I'm not sure what I would think of that home look. I have no idea what kind of stripe would be used, if we would go with a "pointed" stripe, a full stripe like I used, or the stripe(s) Miami uses.


I used Miami's home jersey as the althernate home jersey so you could just imagine that in Purple and white with the UNI logo replacing the Miami logo

We have had black pants at home in the past. I liked that look, but would love to see a white pants look full time at home.

I'm not a fan of the jerseys...nor am I a fan of any jersey with purple (hence Aaron Smith tackling a purple jersey)...but it is a slight improvement.

Things I dislike about Northern Iowa University Football:

They play in a domed box.
Their tunnel opening is an old garage door for some reason.
Their entrance smoke smelled like ass & pancakes. (nhm)
Their uniforms dont match
Their helmets dont match their uniforms
Their pressbox is a catwalk.
