the guy who wrote this needs to get his facts right. I hate when someone says "FCS (former D2)"

He also says "formally D2", I think what he means to say is formerly, so not only doesn't he know football, he doesn't know english.DKHardee wrote:may have been posted already, if not, enjoy.

Wow, that was bizarre. smh
Re: 10 FCS programs that should jump to FBS
The Fighting Sioux won the FCS Championship in 2001, and were runner-ups in 2003.
Although, I wish I had watched the Hens beat North Dakota 40-0 in Chatty in '03 instead of Colgate.

Ive said it 100 time. People think fcs is d2 bc fcs basically is d2. Perception is reality.

wow, lots of funny stuff in there (formally Division II obviously a standout) but NIU to the WAC? If you go to WAC forums or boards right now, it's complete disarray with people moving up anything from Lamar to Alaska Anchorage into the WAC.... and still nobody has ever mentioned NIU in my recollection. They'd be good to move up, but the WAC is pretty well spread out far enough as it is.

Nova sure would put more butts in the seats at the FBS level! And UNH...

NIU? wow, you're as knowledgable as the author of that article.S F State Gaters wrote:wow, lots of funny stuff in there (formally Division II obviously a standout) but NIU to the WAC? NIU is already FBS (in the MAC). And UNI (Northern Iowa) doesn't have the funds needed for a move up

Yikes. Either a 14 year old or somebody kinda special.
Because of UNH and UMass' ties to the Big East?Due to the location of campus and current ties with Villanova, New Hampshire and UMass, the Blue Hens would be placed in the Big East.

Re: 10 FCS programs that should jump to FBS
This guy also has UND but not NDSU on his list of FBS-ready programs. Not bashing UND but that one's hard to figure.
Re: 10 FCS programs that should jump to FBS
No we don't, nor do I think we should make the jump. However, this isn't the first time UNI has been listed as a possible FBS mover. I think this is the third place i've saw us listed as a WAC possiblility. The other conference I saw us listed with was the MAC or CUSA depending what schools jumped those conferences. It is all hersay though as UNI isn't going to leave the FCS level until it implodes and we have no choice.JayJ79 wrote:NIU? wow, you're as knowledgable as the author of that article.S F State Gaters wrote:wow, lots of funny stuff in there (formally Division II obviously a standout) but NIU to the WAC?
