where is the best place to have the student section? ours is behind the visitor bench. i dont think it really matters though and only NAU has complained, there students. they were mad our students were talking trash and throwing snowballs at the players the whole game. it was very lame but sorta funny thinking back right now.

it if was basketball it would be a diff story, the student section is more of a factor. we would need 3-4,000 students at a football game to have an impact on the game or make the need to move the students necessary.

the whole side of the stadium u see in the pic is the GA basically. the students sit in the middle though with the band.

After the student section fills up the south end of the home side bleachers we tend to fill the SRO behind the endzone and start to take the south end of the visiting side bleachers with students

at Southern the student section runs from the 35 to the goalline on the home side. By comparison the visitors get sections 1-3 on the east side.

We have them right behind the visitor's bench. It was pretty entertaining during the JMU playoff game in 2006.. Let's just say it caused some havoc:

I suppose talking trash is to be expected, and tolerated as long as it doesn't get TOO out of hand.

but if I was a coach, and any member of the crowd threw ANYTHING at my players, I would get those people kicked out.

JMU puts the students behind the visitors bench and half a section away from the visitors

I can't find a current seating chart for the Skydome, but NAU puts the students behind the home bench

I don't know who came up with this joke of a diagram, but UNC's students are behind the visitor's bench.

NDSU's student section is in the southwest corner of the dome. So it isn't the entire visitor's sideline but just enough for some trash talk.

For next season, JMU will have the students behind the visitor's bench and in the endzone. Getting stoked for this season too!

And Suite 303 is only 100 yards from the back of the endzone.

I'd say it's only 85-90 yards from the back of the endzone. Of course, the very rear of the suite could be 100 yards away.

Our student section is set up like the rest of the stadium. What you see on the west side is what you get on the east side.
